Hey guys! I hope everyone is ready for weekend, I know I am! Going to go see Harry Potter, Part 2 tonight with my brother & his wife. Did any of you go see the midnight premiere? I heard it was really good, so I’m pretty stoked. Anyways, for the weekend I figured I’d give you all some quick beauty tips.
Well, that’s all for today! I hope you all have an amazing weekend, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask in my ask box. Stay lovely xoxo
arainbowcupcake asked: when you use the avocado hair mask you posted, should you wash before using, after, or not at all?
You can wash it after, you want to keep the oils in your hair before you apply it. You shouldn’t do it before and after because washing your hair too much can dry out the natural oils.

Hi everyone! I’m sorry for the lack of updating, I am now settled within my new home in Virginia so now I can continue to go back to making tuts for you all. :) Now for a few hair and skin remedies that always necessary when your body needs a little pick me up.
Oatmeal is excellent for your skin because it contains polysaccharides, a type of complex carbohydrate. When the polysaccharides are mixed with water, a gel like substance is formed, which when placed upon the skin, helps it from drying out even after it is washed away, leaving your skin soft, supple, & nourished. It also removes dirt in your pores because the saponins in oats help to remove all bacteria and oil and excess dirt.
Now then, for this mask all you will need is regular oatmeal plus water from your tap.
Now since it’s very hot out, your hair tends to frizz up in the humidity. So, I’m going to teach you guys how to make a simple hair mask from a few simple things, the main ingredient being avocado. Avocado contains high levels of vitamins A, D, and E along with oils that prevent hair from becoming dry and provide hydration.

I love all my followers <3 Be sure to send me suggestions in my ask box on what you guys would like next for a tutorial, whether it’s DIY or makeup or hair !
So, like any girl in today’s economy, I’m short on money. It’s pretty costly to have to go to Sephora & spend over 20 dollars on Urban Decay’s Primer Potion every time I run out. Primer is used on your eyelids to keep your eyshadow from creasing & to also help the colours remain very vibrant. I love wearing eyeshadows, I’m a big smokey eye person, so having primer is a must for me. So, I decided to do a lil’ research & I’ve found there is a cheaper and easier way to make your own primer with things that are in your own house!
Things You’ll Need
Tada! Homemade primer! Just pop a little bit on your eyelids before applying eyeshadow & you’re all good plus you didn’t have to spend more than necessary. :-) Hope you all enjoyed. xoxo.

So, I’m a big fan of masks. I like to use them once a week, just to clean out my pores & minimize them. Although, I love using my Mint & Lemon mask, I am a huge fan of traditional made-at-home masks; two of which I shall show you all how to make.
Turmeric Mask
After you use this mask, you shall see how much clearer your face looks. It reduces redness and also evens our your skin tone. If your skin has a light yellow tint to it after using the mask, then just wash your face with a daily cleanser & it will go away.
In India, Turmeric is constantly used whether it’s in our curry or in our sandalwood, and it is because of it’s wonderful health benefits. If you were to ask any bride in India, they would agree to this because they mix turmeric with gram flour & water to make a scrub that use regularly to have spotless skin before their wedding date.
Things you will need:
Chocolate Mask
I know what you’re thinking, what? Chocolate? How does that help? Well, not only is dark chocolate incredibly good for your heart, it also it great for your skin since it’s extremely rich in antioxidants. This mask will tighten your pores and also keep your face looking fresh and glowing.
Things you will need:
& Voila ! Clear nice skin with two really simple DIY masks. I love the fact that both of these masks use yogurt since it hydrates your skin and also treats blemishes. Don’t be afraid to try either of these, they’re both wonderful for your skin and also don’t forget to moisturize after. I hope you guys liked both these tutorials. xoxo.
